McCook Central/Montrose have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Wagner at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-35, which was the final score in McCook Central/Montrose's tilt against Beresford two weeks ago. This makes it the second defeat in a row for McCook Central/Montrose.
Meanwhile, Wagner took a serious blow against Chamberlain last Friday, falling 7-49.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
