Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
American Leadership Academy - West Foothills found their leader in underclassman Iziic Morales, who scored 20 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morales has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Matthias Brown, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
River Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nash Hanrahan, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 4 assists, and Gabriel Short who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Nysaiah Vargas was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
American Leadership Academy - West Foothills' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for River Valley, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11.
