The Montgomery County Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season. Everything went their way against North Callaway on Tuesday as Montgomery County made off with a 58-36 victory. Montgomery County's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Despite the loss, North Callaway still got an impressive performance from Riley Blevins, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Montgomery County pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25 points. As for North Callaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery County will be home for the holidays to greet Monroe City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Montgomery County is ranked ninth). North Callaway will be home for the holidays to greet Hallsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
