The Silliman Institute Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Oak Forest Academy 69-37. Silliman Institute has struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Leonard Brumfield jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Oak Forest Academy, shooting 4-for-7 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. Brumfield jr. is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Logan Freche was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Silliman Institute dropped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Oak Forest Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.
Silliman Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oak Forest Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
