The Madison Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 69-12 loss at the hands of Christian Fellowship. Madison was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-7.
Christian Fellowship found their leader in underclassman Evan Aslanidas, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aslanidas has scored all season. Keaton Kiffe was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Madison dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Christian Fellowship, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Madison won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Christian Fellowship, they will be playing at home against the Warrior at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 579th, while the are ranked 136th).
