In what's become a running theme this season, the Arrowhead Christian Academy Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Jefferson Prep 66-22 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-12.
Arrowhead Christian Academy was led to victory by Marcus Edwards and Asa Shaw. Edwards almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, while Shaw scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Shaw continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Giulian Cabada, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Arrowhead Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Jefferson Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Arrowhead Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Arizona Cultural Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Arrowhead Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday. Jefferson Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
