Jersey lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Carrollton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Hawks on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Jersey broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-11. As for Carrollton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jersey will host Jacksonville at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crimsons have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Carrollton, they will be playing at home against Greenfield/Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
