The Taylor Ducks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 22 points or more this season. They breezed by Caldwell on the road to the tune of 61-22. The win was nothing new for Taylor as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Taylor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kionayh Rivers, who scored 12 points along with three steals and three blocks. Rivers is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Asia Zachary, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Taylor is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Caldwell, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16-1 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Smithville the next time they take the court. Taylor will host Smithville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Caldwell will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
