Southside stacked  a  12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lafayette Lions  an   11-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Southside as they're now sitting on ten straight.
  AC Pharr made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Pharr has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Pharr was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Southside got a  massive  performance out of  Maci Menard, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Jena Lecamus, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Southside pushed their record up to 18-7 with that  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home. As for Lafayette, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 12-10.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside will stay at home for another  game and welcome Port Barre at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Southside knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Port Barre likes a good challenge. As for Lafayette, they will be playing at home against Hanson Memorial at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
