Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Argos Dragons walked away with it. They managed a 47-43 victory over the Blackhawks on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Argos has won by exactly four points.
Samantha Redinger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 34 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it 22 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Argos' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgyn Barcus, who scored six points along with four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Argos and bumps their season record up to 10-12. As for Westville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Argos will take on the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Indiana (Triton is ranked 249th, while the Dragons are ranked 258th). Westville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
