It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Inspiration Academy had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the FSBE Academy Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Kolten Harris looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Inspiration Academy got a massive performance out of Ty Harvey, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and four runs. That's the most runs Harvey has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was John Rudolph, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.

Inspiration Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory (which was Inspiration Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 19-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for FSBE Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As of now, neither Inspiration Academy nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
