A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Jefferson County and Hamilton County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. Jefferson County took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hamilton County. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jefferson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre Scott, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Scott a new career-high. Marcos Vargas was another, getting no hits from his an at bat.

Meanwhile, Munroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Wakulla Christian School.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Munroe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Jefferson County's way against Munroe in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Jefferson County made off with a 10-1 win. Does Jefferson County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Munroe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
