The Columbus Discoverers will take on the Norfolk Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Columbus had taken Lincoln Southeast down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Discoverers fell 3-1 to the Knights. While the Discoverers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-19 in the first set.
Columbus started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Columbus saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Bloebaum had 17 assists and four digs. Bloebaum is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, Norfolk waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Spartans 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-23.
Columbus better focus on containing Jocelyn Kuehner and Georgia Kluver as the pair were huge in Norfolk's win. Kuehner had six digs and five aces, while Kluver had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kluver has posted over her last five matchups.
Norfolk was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Norfolk's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Columbus has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6 aces per game. However, it's not like Norfolk struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
