Omaha Northwest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bryan Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Omaha Northwest never let Bryan on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-11.

Bryan dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Omaha Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Benson on the 28th. Bryan has also already played their next game (against Omaha North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
