The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Windsor nor Cardinal Newman made it on the board until the eighth inning. The Jaguars beat the Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on six straight.

Windsor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Curry, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI.

Windsor pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Cardinal Newman, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Coming up, Windsor will face off against Oakland Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will challenge Rancho Cotate at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
