Piedmont Community Charter's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Piedmont Community Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TJ Biggers, who scored ten points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Biggers has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bobby Erwin, who scored ten points.
Piedmont Community Charter pushed their record up to 12-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Apprentice Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Piedmont Community Charter's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Carolina International at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Apprentice Academy on the road again on Thursday and play against Sugar Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th.
