After a string of three wins, the Packinghouse Christian Academy Bears's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a serious blow against Bethel Christian, falling 70-43. Packinghouse Christian Academy lost against Bethel Christian in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 83-38 score last time.
Bethel Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Coba, who scored 19 points along with 4 steals. The match was Coba's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Kyababchian, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Packinghouse Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bethel Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Packinghouse Christian Academy will take on Cornerstone Christian at TBD on Tuesday. As for Bethel Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Grove School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grove School comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
