Ware County is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Bradwell Institute is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Last Friday, Ware County strolled past Jenkins with points to spare, taking the game 53-34. 53 seems to be a good number for Ware County as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Bradwell Institute didn't have too much trouble with Greenbrier on the road on Saturday as they won 66-51. Given Bradwell Institute's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Greenbrier is ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Parris Parham was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15points for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Gethers, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Ware County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Bradwell Institute, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.
