After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridgeview, Bend was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Summit Storm as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Lava Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Lauren Glasser was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was MacKenzie Shaughnessy, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
Bend has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10-1 record this season.
