The Meeteetse Longhorns won the last time they faced the Riverside Rebels, and things went their way on Saturday too. Meeteetse walked away with a 57-47 victory over Riverside. The win made it back-to-back wins for Meeteetse.
Meeteetse's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Potas led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joseph Pina, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Meeteetse has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
Meeteetse will look to defend their home court on Monday against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
