North Miami Beach pushed the score to 57-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Sharks cut but never quite recovered from.
Jaycob Joseph continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of North Miami Beach's points. Edgar Inoa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Despite the defeat, Mourning had strong showings from Alvintino Charles, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Kristopher Jean-Jacques, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Chapa, who scored five points.
North Miami Beach's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Mourning, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
North Miami Beach will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Pine Crest is ranked 462nd, while the Chargers are ranked 440th). As for Mourning, they will take on the Panthers at TBD on Tuesday.
