Forestview has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Stuart W. Cramer Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forestview has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 460 points over their last seven contests.
Last Friday, Forestview earned a 67-54 win over Huss.
Forestview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blair Riley led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Riley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Forgan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Stuart W. Cramer came tearing into Friday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 51-35 win over Ashbrook. Given Stuart W. Cramer's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Ashbrook is ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lauren Humphrey and Oshauna Holland were among the main playmakers for Stuart W. Cramer as the former dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds and the latter dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. Holland is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hadley Womack, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Forestview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Forestview hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 62.6 points per game. It's a different story for Stuart W. Cramer, though, as they've been averaging only 55.3 points per game. The only thing between Forestview and another offensive beatdown is Stuart W. Cramer. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Forestview was dealt a bruising 70-38 defeat at the hands of Stuart W. Cramer in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Forestview, Zion Duncan (who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 22 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
