Camelback is 1-6 against Central since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Camelback Spartans will be playing at home against the Central Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Camelback fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 22-13 win over Fairfax on Friday.

Meanwhile, Central can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on North with a sharp 41-21 win. The win was nothing new for Central as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khameron Athy, who rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. Cam Allen was another key contributor, throwing for 221 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes.
Camelback is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Central, their win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1.
Camelback came up short against Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 27-19. Will Camelback have more luck at home instead of on the road?
