On Friday, The Waipahu Marauders faced the Farrington Governors in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Waipahu put the hurt on Farrington with a sharp 48-26 win. Considering Waipahu has won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Waipahu's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Radford and 2-5 Castle (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.3% over those games). As for Farrington, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Waipahu does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Farrington also has no future games currently scheduled.
