Volleyball Recap: Folsom's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It was a good run, but Folsom unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Monte Vista Mustangs.

Jazmin Ojo paced Folsom's offense, picking up seven kills. Ojo were helped by Ryan Kannegeisser and Alana Black, who contributed ten assists each. Khloe Wong controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Folsom's defeat dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Monte Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Folsom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Branson on the 11th. As for Monte Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against James Logan on the 11th.
