Rachel Lyons was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
