Centerville is still winless after their contest against Box Elder on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Box Elder Bears. One positive for the Miners, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Box Elder got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Martay Stiffarm-Rosette out in front who posted 20 points along with three steals and three blocks. Stiffarm-Rosette has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played. Shareece Raining Bird was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Box Elder, their record now sits at 4-6.

Centerville will head out on the road to take on Belt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Box Elder has already played their next game (against Fort Benton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
