Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Maddie Collins stepped things up a notch to give Norwalk the 'W'. Collins wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Collins and Norwalk will welcome Greenwich at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Bears have been struggling at home and they will enter the matchup having lost four straight home games.
