Baseball Recap: Stevens Takes a Loss

Stevens lost against Warren back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stevens Falcons fell 7-3 to the Warren Warriors.

Jordan Vargas was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Joshua Hernandez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Stevens has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. Warren is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

While Stevens had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
