Bedford North Lawrence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bloomington North only posted a batting average of .179.
Bedford North Lawrence pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Seymour hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Bedford North Lawrence struggles in that department as they've averaged .354. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
