The Parrish Community Bulls lost to the North Port Bobcats back in December of 2022, but the Parrish Community Bulls didn't allow the North Port Bobcats the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Parrish Community put the hurt on North Port with a sharp 69-44 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Parrish Community.
Parrish Community had a senior duo take command as Mary Portwood dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds and Sarah Decker dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Decker has scored at least 25% of Parrish Community's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Heuss, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
The victory got Parrish Community back to even at 2-2. As for North Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Bradenton Christian the next time they take the court. North Port will head out to face Bradenton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Parrish Community will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
