Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the East Rowan Mustangs, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-0  defeat  last Tuesday.
 Concord was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15,  25-15.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for East Rowan, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-10.
 Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Rowan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  defeat against South Rowan on the 14th.
