Basketball Recap: More Skates Past Khan Lab with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely More's strategy against Khan Lab on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the More Knights blew the Khan Lab Condors out of the water with a 63-22 final score. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

More had a senior duo take command as Anthony Selway went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and four steals and Timothy Bumb went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Selway has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Vogel, who posted six points and three steals.

More smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

More pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Khan Lab, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

More didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-49 victory against James Lick on the 18th. As for Khan Lab, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
