Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chazy). They came out on top against the Seton Catholic Central Knights by a score of 54-44 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Michael Mannix and Oliver Hughes certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Mannix posted 18 points and five boards, while Hughes earned 19 points. Mannix's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Devine, who had six points and five rebounds.

Chazy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Seton Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Chazy will venture away from home to challenge Lake Placid at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will face off against Northern Adirondack at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seton Catholic Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season.
