Volleyball Recap: Orland's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Orland had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Chico Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Trojans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

Orland never let Chico on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.

Dottie Davis paced Orland's offense, picking up 13 kills. Davis got some help from Caydance Kremer and her 17 assists. Finally, Lillianna Rowe kept Orland's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Orland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Orland will square off against Pierce on Saturday. As for Chico, they will face off against Corning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
