Carter Daugherty made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
In other pitching news, Marissa/Coulterville got a great performance from Landon Sabo as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, Sabo posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Rhett Fritsche, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
