After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seaside, the Scappoose Indians were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They took down Tillamook 65-46. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Scappoose considering their 22-point performance the contest before.
Scappoose found their leader in underclassman Elijah Greenan biggs, who scored 19 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Quinton Olson, who scored 12 points.
Scappoose now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Tillamook, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Scappoose will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cheesemakers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tillamook is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for they, they will head out on the road to face off against Scappoose at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Scappoose is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cheesemakers in Oregon (the Indians are ranked 95th, while the Cheesemakers are ranked 218th).
