The Constitution Generals stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 90-58 win over Boys' Latin Charter. Winning may never get old, but Constitution sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Constitution's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Perry Fields, who scored 22 points along with four steals and two blocks. Fields is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Kyree Latimer was another key contributor, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds.
Constitution is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Boys' Latin Charter, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Constitution won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Springfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Generals are ranked 40th). Boys' Latin Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
