Oneida will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Wartburg Central at 7:30 PM. Oneida have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Oneida had enough points to win and then some against Gatlinburg-Pittman last Friday, winning 33-14.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-54, which was the final score in Wartburg Central's tilt against Harriman last week.
Oneida's win lifted them to 2-0 while Wartburg Central's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Oneida can add another positive mark to their record or if Wartburg Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Oneida's step.
