Kaylee Summers made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those hits were her first of the season.
In other batting news, Amari Prentice was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Akiyla Jones, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
