Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ralston Valley walked away with it. They really took it to the Fruita Monument Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-28 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

Santana Sabus was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Kailey Townsend, who had ten points.

Ralston Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 13-5 when they've passed the ball that well.

Ralston Valley moved to 13-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Fruita Monument, they moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Coming up, Ralston Valley will square off against Pine Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine Creek will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Ralston Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Fruita Monument does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
