The contest between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Mason falling 60-43. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
Leading Oak Hills to victory were Henry Maginn and Nate Riep. Maginn scored 18 points along with two steals, while Riep scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Bobby Stidham was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Mason now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Oak Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mason will take on Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Elder at 7:30 p.m. Elder presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Oak Hills in Ohio (Elder is ranked eighth, while Oak Hills is ranked 164th).
