AA Piedmont recap Nov. 7, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Magna Vista, who took down 94th ranked Magna Vista, 20-19.
Bassett and the Warriors played the most hotly contested game in AA Piedmont this week, with Bassett eventually emerging with a 20-19 victory.
Tunstall's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Buckner threw for 150 and two touchdowns and Dustin Kuczinski had 58 yards receiving. On the ground Jacob Barnette chipped in 76 yards. Brad Hylton helped Tunstall's passing attack out by catching one ball for 31 yards.
Tunstall's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Buckner has thrown for 1302 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Damien Wilson has 21 catches for 313 yards. Barnette leads the league in rushing with 963 yards.
The Trojans took down Martinsville 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Buckner in the win.
