Two dominant backs in Keion Moore and Allen Clark are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Seffner Christian Crusaders will venture away from home to face off against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Seffner Christian comes in on three and Out-of-Door Academy on five.
If Out-of-Door Academy heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Seffner Christian took over last week. The Crusaders really took it to Cambridge Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-21 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won five matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Seffner Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Luke Mclaughlin out in front who picked up 132 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 132 receiving yards gave Mclaughlin a new career-high. Gabe Hagan was another key passer, throwing for 223 yards and three TDs.
Seffner Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
Seffner Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bo Knox, John Snellings, and Trey Duque picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Out-of-Door Academy). They blew past Faith Christian 50-0 on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Thunder just coasted through the last quarter.
Seffner Christian better keep an eye on Edouard Chaput. He was instrumental in Out-of-Door Academy's win, throwing for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. Ryan Beck was in the mix too, providing the Thunder with one score.
Out-of-Door Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. Jake Beasley refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Out-of-Door Academy received some extra help from Beck, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Seffner Christian's record is now 6-1. As for Out-of-Door Academy, their record now sits at an identical 6-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Seffner Christian has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 199.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Out-of-Door Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 202.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Seffner Christian might still be hurting after the 36-14 defeat they got from Out-of-Door Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Thunder's Clark, who rushed for 175 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Now that the Crusaders know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
