Vanguard entered their tilt with Trinity Catholic on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Celtics by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for Vanguard, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jassiel Quinonez and Teo Prenaj scored all three of Vanguard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Vanguard's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Trinity Catholic, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-2.

Vanguard and Trinity Catholic will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Knights see the pitch they'll take on Forest at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st. As for Trinity Catholic, their break will end when they face Williston at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd.
