On Saturday, Bishop Manogue came up short against Grants Pass and fell 51-43.
Despite the loss, Bishop Manogue saw an underclassman step up: Jamahl Jackson scored 12 points along with 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Kaden Rowe, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Bishop Manogue's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Grants Pass, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Manogue will take on Damonte Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Damonte Ranch knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Bishop Manogue likes a good challenge. Grants Pass will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Sprague at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Sprague is ranked 98th, while Grants Pass is ranked 76th).
