Lodi posted their biggest win since December 5th on Saturday. They put the hurt on the El Dorado Cougars with a sharp 71-49 victory. Given the Flames' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Cougars are ranked 698th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lodi is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for El Dorado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lodi will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rio Americano at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. El Dorado will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Buhach Colony at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
