Fort Myers is 9-1 against Riverdale since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Green Wave will challenge the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Fort Myers will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Fort Myers is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on LaBelle with a sharp 13-1 victory on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Green Wave with their most commanding win of the season.

Fort Myers gave Luke Pellicer the start and clearly made the right call: he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Pellicer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Fort Myers got a massive performance out of Jacob Hardman, who went 4-for-5 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Markham Lancaster was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Fort Myers kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2025.
Meanwhile, Riverdale narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Naples 3-2.
Aiden Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Smith was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
Smith wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Alex Manetta, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Manetta has hit this season.
Fort Myers' record now sits at 8-1. As for Riverdale, their record is now 5-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Fort Myers has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Riverdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Fort Myers skirted past Riverdale 4-2 in their previous meeting back in February. Do the Green Wave have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
