The Easley Green Wave will face off against the Mauldin Mavericks at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mauldin took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Easley, who comes in off a win.
Easley took a eight-run  defeat the last time they faced off against Greenville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Easley came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenville on Tuesday, sneaking past  7-6. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Green Wave as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Jalyn McGee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and five unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the fewest  earned runs  she has allowed since back in May of 2024.

 On the hitting side,  Camora Little was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Payton Todd was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Mauldin was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  14-4 to Fountain Inn.
 Mauldin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Easley, they picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 2-6.
