Royall is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Brookwood is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Royall will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Chequamegon on Saturday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Screaming Eagles with a sharp 11-1 win.
Brynn Olson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Brookwood got themselves on the board against North Crawford on Friday, but North Crawford never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Trojans.
Like Royall, Brookwood also got a great game from a two-way player: Mallory Wallace. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Wallace was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mariah Semann, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Sierra Pasch was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Brookwood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Crawford only posted a batting average of .235.
Royall's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Brookwood, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Royall has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brookwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Royall got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Brookwood by a conclusive 13-5 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
